I had an incredible stay thanks to Sail Komodo! The cruise was amazing — I saw the most unbelievable marine and land animals: manta rays, baby sharks, sea turtles, seahorses, and Komodo dragons! 🥰 The food was delicious and varied — pancakes and French toast in the morning, with snacks like chips and coconut in between meals. Sure, the shower and toilet aren't luxury — but the people on this cruise are genuine and interesting. It's all part of the experience! :) I absolutely loved Midun the captain, and our guide Dedi was hilarious too. We did so much snorkeling at our own pace — never rushed. The last evening was spent on a tiny private island with just our group — truly unforgettable. With Sail Komodo, you're guaranteed an amazing crew, great food, and the company of kind, like-minded people. Thank you Sail Komodo!" 🤗 (Translated from French)
We had a great time! It was well organized, the crew was great and we enjoyed the trip a lot!
Absolutely, this trip is one of bucketlist everyone should have done. Solo, couple, group all fits perfectly with this trip. When they said 30 strangers would become like family, damn it's happened. We are all connected on board. Happy i did this. And everyone should do. The booking and trip organizing are smooth. *note : towel and seasickness pill might help
Finally made it to Komodo — and the 4-day, 3-night liveaboard was absolutely worth it. Zero complaints, 100% recommended! Trip highlights: Padar Island sunrise with its stunning four-colored bays, Pink Beach where the colors look unreal even without filters, Manta Point where we almost certainly spotted manta rays up close, Rinca Island with professional guides to safely see Komodo dragons, incredible snorkeling with sea turtles, coral reefs, and fish everywhere — and even a chance to spot whale sharks if you're lucky! The cabin was clean and comfortable with the AC. Meals were fresh and delicious, drinks and fruits always available. The crew was attentive — reminding us of safety, helping take photos, and very accommodating even for guests who don't speak English. Perfect for couples, friends, families, and nature lovers. Four days is just right to cover all the highlights without rushing. Sleeping on the ocean and waking up at each destination beats any day trip by far. If you're visiting Komodo, go for the liveaboard. It's raw, stunning, and uncrowded — this is what island travel should feel like. (Translated from Chinese)
